FAQs

Are diabetic socks the same as compression socks?

No. Compression socks apply gentle pressure to support circulation. Diabetic socks are designed not to squeeze: ours have a non-binding stretch top that stays up without squeezing, a smooth toe seam to limit rubbing, max cushioning underfoot and moisture-wicking WickWell™ yarn. Our diabetic socks don't include compression.

Are ankle, quarter, crew and liner socks one size?

Yes. Our ankle, quarter, mid-crew, crew and liner socks are one-size-fits-most and fit the same shoe sizes as our knee-highs: women's shoe sizes 4–10 and men's shoe sizes 7–12. Stretch yarn and flex zones help them adapt to your foot for a snug, secure fit without pinching. If you have questions about fit, our customer care team is happy to help.

Do I need to have diabetes to wear diabetic socks?

Not at all. Diabetic socks are a comfortable choice for anyone who dislikes tight sock tops, has sensitive feet, or notices sock marks around their ankles at the end of the day. They also work well as a soft, everyday crew sock.

Can people with diabetes wear compression socks?

Many people with diabetes wear mild compression, but it depends on your circulation and overall health. If you have diabetes, neuropathy, or circulation concerns, talk with your doctor before wearing compression socks. If you'd rather avoid compression altogether, our non-binding diabetic socks are designed for comfort without squeezing.

How do I wash compression socks?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, use only non-chlorine bleach if needed, and air dry or tumble dry on low. Socks with spandex can look a little smaller after washing, but that shouldn't change the fit. Gentle care helps them keep their support longer.
