Ways To Take Good Care Of Your Compression Socks
Wearing compression socks has always been our armour for both comfort and style, either making it a part of our daily life or using it for therapeutic purposes. From the moment you dress up in the morning for a day’s work to removing them before bed (or as advised by the doctor), compression socks are here to save you.
We know how these socks take care of our feet. Now, it’s time for us to take good care of them, too. Sounds like a reciprocation of love, right? Well then, here’s how to keep them in mint condition!
1. After taking your compression socks off, wash them every night to prevent the build up of odor and bacteria.
2. Wash them separately. If you’ll be washing them with other garments, make sure that they are of the same color.
3. At a temperature of 30 or 40 degrees Fahrenheit in a washing machine, spin your compression stocks at a maximum of 1,200 revolutions per minute.
4.Wash your compression socks gently without using detergent with bleach nor fabric conditioners. After washing, do not leave them under the sun and let them air-dry instead.
Such methods can aid in regaining their original elasticity and compression. When you apply these methods, your compression socks’ condition will remain as if they’re just newly bought ones.
Since compression socks are being worn all day, you should buy an extra pair so you can wash and dry them between each use. The good thing is that Dr. Motion has a variety of socks to choose from. Get them here now!
